Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if a painter doesn't show up?

While rare due to our strict reliability vetting, if a no-show occurs, our manual operations team is notified immediately. We will work urgently to dispatch a replacement painter to your site and the offending painter will face platform suspension.

Do painters bring their own tools?

Painters are expected to bring hand tools (brushes, basic scrapers, utility knives). Larger equipment (sprayers, ladders, scaffolding, drop cloths) and all materials (paint, tape) must be provided by the hiring business. You can specify required tools in your request.

Who handles insurance?

Workers on the platform operate independently and are responsible for carrying their own applicable insurance coverage. Trade Time helps simplify the process by screening workers and maintaining platform standards before they can accept shifts.

Can I request the same painter again?

Yes! If you find a painter you work well with, you can add them to your "Preferred List" and direct future shift requests to them first before broadcasting to the wider network.
