HOW TRADE TIME WORKS

From an Open Shift to a Painter on Your Jobsite

Trade Time gives painting companies a simple way to find temporary painters without relying on job boards, social media posts, or weeks of recruiting. Tell us what you need, review interested painters, and build the crew for your next shift.

A SIMPLE FIVE-STEP PROCESS

Post the work. Choose your painters. Keep the project moving.

1

Create Your Business Account

Tell us about your painting company and where you typically need help. Once your account is ready, you can begin posting shifts and reviewing painters.

2

Post the Shift

Add the jobsite location, date, start and end time, hourly pay, required experience, duties, and the number of painters you need.

3

Review Interested Painters

See which painters are available and review their profiles, experience, ratings, tools, and other relevant information before making your selections.

4

Confirm Your Crew

Choose the painters you want for the shift and send them the information they need to arrive prepared and ready to work.

5

Complete the Shift

Painters clock in, work alongside your crew, and clock out when the shift is finished. Payment is then completed through Trade Time.

MANAGE THE SHIFT IN ONE PLACE

The details your crew needs, without the back-and-forth

Each shift gives painters the information they need before they arrive. That means fewer last-minute questions and a clearer start to the workday.

  • Jobsite address and arrival time
  • Shift length and hourly pay
  • Required experience and tools

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Your shift moves from an open opportunity to an assigned crew

01

Painters See the Opportunity

Available painters can review the date, location, pay, duties, and experience requirements before deciding whether the shift is a good fit.

02

Painters Apply for the Shift

Painters who are available and interested can apply. Once the shift is filled, the assigned workers are added to the job.

03

You Review Your Assigned Painters

After workers are assigned, you can review their profiles, experience, ratings, tools, and other available information before the shift begins.

04

The Work Gets Done

The assigned painters arrive for the scheduled shift, work alongside your crew, and help keep the project moving.

You stay in control of the job. Trade Time handles the workflow.
